...the more they stay the same. i've yet again wasted top form for a captain. the guy i got from V02 was triggered today so instead of having him in top form at the upcoming tour, he's going to be in TF in at least three single day races. that's going to wreck my schedule but hopefully he can score a bit.
no more TT or other race tests, no more A/B squad for the next 12 days it's all focused on one guy and the best set of teammates i can muster for him.

it would be like racing with 7 instead of six riders that day. i would revise my estimation for those three races to say that I'll be sorely disappointed without all 3 top finishes and at least one win.
i don't watch a lot of one day stage races, but i've seen in the TDF who still bonk in the mountains dropping from yellow jersey to 10th or something in one stage after losing minutes in the mountains. even in peak condition a rider can still screw up their nutrition or have some other problem. i think the 10% matters a lot. that's roughly equivalent to having his twin as a TM lol
Does the 10% gain really mean all that much? Maybe it does but then those constant off days and mechanicals still put a damper on TF. When you think of being in TF how can a rider ever have an off day while in that state of conditioning. I can't see as how that matters all that much, but good luck none the less.
